From Death Valley into the snow

Me, Steve & Juliana (our car) on the Panamint range, according to Steve the oldest range in CA.

The Sierra Nevada winking, it looks quite cold, dunnit ?

Lake Crowey behind our back, we are standing in a caldera again, a very big one, miles across. Steve doing his pointing thing again ;o)

Sierra Nevada on the "background", Alabama's in front.

Mammoth lake, we tried to get a cabin there, but it was solid booked. Here on the parking spot, lots of snow and people who wanted to play it, as it was easter-weekend.

We drove another 10 miles to June-lake, famous for Trout-fishing. Because the season for fishing hadn't started as of yet, we easily found a lake-front cabin.

Me & sis unloading the car, we did some shoppings for dinner. Our cabin is the far left one.

Oh no ! It's yoga-Steve again !
